Puck completes sweep of Lions

The JV Puck squad capped off a rollercoaster season with a solid team effort win over rival St Marks in another well played contest. Days after hitting rock bottom, for the second time this season, the team rebounded with one of its better efforts of the season. The team came out playing well despite missing a few bodies and more than held its own until the stragglers made their way to the bench. Puck was unable to capitalize on several early power plays but struck first on a shorthanded goal by the previously snakebitten Quinn Isenstadt. Not content with just getting off the schneid, Quinn doubled the lead as he, Robbie and Spencer combined for a second strike before the period ended.
The second period saw both teams scoring chances turned back by soild goaltending at each end, in our case the Miler Bowletier combination.
The Pucksters came out flying for the third knowing the next goal would be huge. Backing up his between period tweet, the Norma Nathan of JV Puck, Theo Toe-Drag stuck a dagger in the Lions. Puck up by three. The visitors did not quit and got on the board with plenty of time left. Key defensive contributions from forwards Lucas and Lars helped maintain the lead. As the horn sounded the team created a well deserved pile.

Again a great team win and going away present for Sixth Formers Brent and Seamus, who were the heart of the team all winter, and fittingly had their best games of the season.

Solid defensive efforts from Walshy and Colin backing up Tyler and Mike

Fine all around games from Russell, Charlie, Jack, Henry

Kudos to Coach Caddy Brooks for bringing it everyday

Puck gets back at it on December 3rd. Whose got the water?
