An Off Day after Surprise Holiday

Peter Fry
Maybe we were too rested today.  Or maybe having Suprise Holiday yesterday, and a short practice the day before, got us out of our groove.  Whatever the reason really is, we just didn't play well today: missed layups, silly passes, sloppy defensive decisions.  Oh, well.  We'll bounce back.  We were behind by only ten points at halftime and could have crawled back to make it a close game, but our second half play turned out to be similar to our first half effort.  Second Former Malcolm Fry led our offensive production with eleven points.  Alex Brown contributed five points, in addition to hauling down his usual bevy of rebounds.  Other scorers included Noah Bay (4 points), Patty Eldredge (2 points), Josh Golden (two points), and Ziggy Bereday (1 point).  We look forward to two good full practices tomorrow and Friday -- and to getting back into better game form on Saturday during our home contest against Thayer.
