Reflecting on the Summer

My first year at Groton was a whirlwind. Coming from an all-girls’ public school of more than a thousand students in Buckinghamshire, I knew I was in for a huge change, and a change it was. I won’t lie and say that it is easy entering Groton in the Fifth Form, but I will say that, overall, I have loved it and I am definitely glad I chose to attend Groton. One of my favorite things about the school is the variety of people you meet—people from all over the world with different interests and experiences that make the school the vibrant community it is. So, as I look forward to returning to school and hearing all about what my friends did over the summer, I thought I’d share some pictures of my own experiences from this summer.
As the summer draws to a close, I look back and reflect. It was a time of rest, some work and college stress, traveling, visiting family, and a whole lot more. The break flew by and it was great to be at home and spend time with my mom, but now I am looking forward to returning to my friends, new responsibilities and adventures, and in a weird way even classes and the Groton grind. See you soon, Circle!
