Groton Battles; Beats MX
The GVH picked up another ISL win on Wednesday afternoon - beating Middlesex by the score of 6-2. It was a battle in the first period, with goals going back and forth between the two teams. Ella Nannene '26, Keira Ley '24, and Dani Shyjan '25 picked up the first period goals.
The score remained 3-2 until midway through the second when Sydney Nelson '26 found Tina Scalese '26 streaking down the side wall, as she beat the D wide to sneak one past the goalie - making it 4-2. Keira Ley picked up another goal on the power-play in the third - with Ellie Smith '24 burying one as the buzzer sounded - making it a 6-2 victory.
