Night Game Victory

Groton traveled down to St. George's for a night game to kick off ISL competition. It was a busy day in Middletown with multiple Groton teams competing. Groton scored first on a corner to take the lead 1-0 but by halftime, St. George's had rallied and tied the game 1-1. Groton came out strong in the second half, with numerous scoring opportunities and corners. The St. George's goalie made a number of key saves, keeping things tied well into the evening. Finally, Groton found a way to get it past the talented St. George's defense and held on to win 2-1.
