So Frustratingly Close

This match was about as close as it gets: 25-23, 22-25, 24-26, and 23-25. The crowd's enthusiasm helped turn the momentum our way a few times, helped by strong serving and hitting from Alicia Guo '24 (#11), Amelia Lee '22 (#5), and newcomer Sophia Leng '26 (#13). No hitting was possible without the debut of the hardest working players on the court, our setter Rocky Ibrahim '24 (#7), and our libero Tina Scalese '26 (#19). Another young player, Lauren Dubois '25 (#6) had a couple spectacular stuffs at middle blocker. Keeping the team mentally tough were captains Lee and Naomi Boateng '22 (#25), the latter who also contributed her first kills of the season. Even though Nobles squeaked by us, we thank students and parents for all for your support.
