First Race!

What a great day - beautiful, sunny, warm, and we won our first race in almost two years. Jack Lionette went out fast and finished first, with Stanislas Robert (one of our co-captains) in second and Christopher Hovet in third to clinch the Varsity race for us - 1, 2, 3. Ayur "V" Vallecha place seventh, Ryder Cavanaugh ninth, and Jack Wang eleventh - all of them finishing in 19:30 or faster. With so many runners (42 on our team, and Nobles brought 43 finishers), we ran 15 in the Varsity race and a JV race as well. Eric Ge finished first for JV today, with Wally Capen on his heels coming in at second, Trip Wight placing fourth, and Ryder Woodworth placing seventh. We're psyched for the season and grateful to everyone who is making it possible.
