Abby Frantz joined the Groton faculty in 2016 after working for many years in the Emergency Psychiatry Department at Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to Boston Children’s Hospital, Abby worked at the Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Institute at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. It was there that Abby received extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the treatment of anxiety and related disorders, which remains her primary area of interest. Abby has also worked in therapeutic schools and outpatient and integrated care settings.
 
Abby holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.S.W. in clinical social work from Simmons College School of Social Work. She has also worked in therapeutic schools and outpatient and integrated care settings, as well as on the faculty at Simmons University School of Social Work.
 
Abby loves traveling, baking, reading and going on adventures with her young sons, Owen and Eli, and husband, Chuck.
