CONGRATULATIONS!

Athlete of the Week:

Angelina Joyce/ VIth Form/ Girls' Var Lacrosse
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team notched two ISL wins this week. The games were highly contested and both were won by ONE goal margins.  Angelina Joyce led the team with a total of 13 goals, 1 assist and 6 draw controls. Angelina scored the winning goal against BB&N with 24 seconds left on the clock after a take away from the BB&N goalie. Then, she won the final draw control and maintained possession until the clock ran out to secure the win. Great Job this week Angelina!

Chris Sznip/ Vth Form/ Boys' JV Lacrosse
Boys' JV lacrosse broke a six game losing skid earning a league win over St. George's by a convincing 15-4 margin.  Many players had big days, but none bigger than Chris Sznip '19 who scored four goals, assisted on four others and also dominated at the face-off X.  Sznip has been a team leader all season, both offensively and defensively and leads all midfielders in minutes logged.

Katie Stovall/ IVth Form/ Girls' JV Lacrosse
With no regular goalkeeper on the JV Girls Lacrosse team, multiple players throughout the season have stepped up to fill the void.  Katie Stovall volunteered as this week's goalie and helped her team to two wins. In our game against St. George's, Katie saved twelve of sixteen shots faced, allowing only four goals.  In the net, Katie is focused and fearless, leaning into the challenge of this tough position.
