Groton Students Score High on Chemistry Contest
Two Groton students have earned outstanding scores on the Avery Ashdown High School Chemistry Examination Contest, sponsored by the Northeast Section of the American Chemical Society.
Jeong Jun Kim '14 of Seoul, South Korea tied for third place, competing against 124 other students from the Greater Boston region. Andrea Fisher ’13 of Bronxville, New York qualified to take the National Olympiad for High School Chemistry, which is only open to U.S. residents. She was among about 20 students from the area and 400 from the nation to participate in the Olympiad. Congratulations to Jeong and Andrea!
