Anthony D'Amico

Anthony D'Amico, double and electric bass, is Boston Philharmonic’s principal bass player and is one of New England’s most in-demand musicians. A small sampling of other organizations he plays with includes the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Opera Boston, Portland Symphony, the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Springfield Symphony, the North Shore Music Theatre, and the Sebago-Long Lake Chamber Music Festival of Maine every summer. Mr. D’Amico has taught at many fine institutions including New England Conservatory, Longy School of Music, and the Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts. He has extensive experience playing musical theater show. In fact, he is the house bass player for the Colonial Theater, The Opera House, The Wang, The Huntington Theater, the Providence Performing Arts Center, and North Shore Music Theatre.
