Bob Baughman, jazz piano, is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the New England Conservatory, with majors in classical and jazz composition. He enjoys a full schedule of teaching jazz, classical and pop piano at the Groton School and at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. Bob has played solo piano for several years at the Oak Bar in Boston’s Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, at Boston’s Ritz Hotel, the Boston Harbor Hotel and at many other venues throughout New England. He has recorded two CDs entitled “Sea Song” and “Blue Rondo a la Christmas Tree” which feature his jazz quartet/quintet performing his original compositions and unique arrangements of standards. At Carnegie Recital Hall he performed his original classical composition “Iridescence” for piano four hands with Linda Paptopoli.
