Assistant Director of Admission
Jane Santinelli joined Groton’s Admission Office in 2012. She earned an A.B. from Duke University, and spent eleven years as a sales representative and marketing manager at IBM in New York City and Boston before retiring to pursue graduate school and raise children. She attended Harvard Graduate School of Education, completing her M.Ed on her youngest daughter’s second birthday.
Prior to joining the Groton faculty, Jane volunteered extensively in schools and in her community. Among her many activities, she coordinated cultural enrichment programs, spearheaded annual fund drives, and was elected to local government. She is active in the Duke alumni network. Her husband, Angelo, a former entrepreneur and investor, teaches entrepreneurship at Babson College and runs his own consulting and advising firm. They have three millennial children, Caroline, Tom (Groton ’13), and Maggie, along with their black lab, Bowman. When not interviewing prospective students and reading applications, Jane enjoys spending time outdoors biking, gardening, paddle boarding, and skiing. She is an avid cook, and loves to travel with family and friends.
