Located in Hundred House, the McCormick Library serves the academic, informational, and recreational reading needs of Groton School's community in a quiet, comfortable, and technologically equipped setting. The collection of approximately 60,000 volumes, selected to support the School's curriculum, especially the research component, and to encourage pleasure reading, can be searched through the library's online catalog from any computer with Internet access. To supplement the collection, the library has subscriptions to 100 print magazines and journals and 10 national and local newspapers as well as electronic databases with full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals.


The library features a beautiful, cozy Main Reading Room that contains the fiction collection, the stately Periodicals Room, the Reference Room, the Archives, an atlas alcove, two conference rooms for meetings and classroom use, four group study rooms, and plenty of individual carrels. There is wireless access to the Internet throughout the library.
