Annual Fund

The Annual Fund contributes approximately 10 percent to Groton’s annual budget, which allows the School to continue to offer extraordinary opportunities to its students. Gifts of all sizes from alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends help Groton reach its goal each year.
Dear Members of the Groton Community,
When asked, most alumni, regardless of age, will highlight the lasting friendships, the encouragement to embrace lifelong learning, and opportunities for personal growth as hallmarks of their Groton experience. These outcomes are also the reasons why so many give to the School’s Annual Fund each year.

Thanks in large part to the generosity of 50 percent of the alumni and 93 percent of the parents, Groton surpassed its Annual Fund target of $2,850,000 at the end of our last fiscal year, setting new records in reunion fundraising as well our overall total raised.

Groton’s Annual Fund goal for 2011-2012 is $3,000,000. To reach this amount by June 30, we need your help, and the help of many others. When added together, our gifts continue a long-standing tradition of engagement to sustain the School for a new generation of students, each receiving a similar formative experience to our own.

Please join us in supporting Groton with a gift to this year’s Annual Fund. Our gifts do make a difference.

With sincere thanks,

R. Roland Reynolds ’89, Trustee and President of the Annual Fund
Peter C. Erichsen ’74, Vice President of the Annual Fund
